Telégrafo Hotel

This Hotel, built in 1925, has been preferred by the people of Bayamo and visitors of all times, among other reasons, for being well located in the Historic Centre of the City of Bayamo, the second town founded in 1513 by the adelantado Diego Velázquez, the place where Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, the Father of the Homeland, was born, place where Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, the Father of the Homeland, was born, cradle of our National Anthem, the land of the first to rise up for the independence of Cuba, inspiration of the first romantic and troubadour song, ‘La Bayamesa’, city that is today Cradle of the Cuban Nationality and National Monument. Its culture, legends, history and traditions blend with the architecture of this particular village sung by Céspedes, Fornaris, Sindo Garay and Pablo Milanés; it is a jewel of Cuban culture.
