Founded at the beginning of the last century, this is the oldest of Camagüey's hotels. It still preserves most of its original architectural features. An obligatory reference point in the city, it treasures among its many important events, the visit of the Chilean poetess Gabriela Mistral and the first radio station outside the Cuban capital. Intimate and welcoming, it is characterised by the familiar treatment of its employees and its excellent geographical location, right at the confluence of the main access roads to the city (railway line, airport and highway) and a few metres from the commercial area.
